Me, I love to cook. I love to bake and I love being creative in the kitchen. Give me a recipe and I will tweak it until it becomes mine. When I bake bread, or create a new spicy popcorn recipe, and get an OMG response, I blush – well, as much as a chocolate skinned woman can blush. I love it. And, I love to show people that cooking “good” not well, but cooking good is not just for kitchenista’s (is that a new word?).
So, I am going to post recipes that I love and that you ask for. I promise that every dish I give you a recipe for has been tried and tested in my kitchen. As a matter of fact, I am going to insist that the people who I share the food with are willing to write their comments on my blog. Also, if you try a recipe that you find here, please let me know how it works for you. However, let me give you a note of caution – before you start tweaking my recipes, follow them as close as possible until you get the hang of it-then tweak away.
